#1 Green Bay Packers (1-0)

The defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers proved that they hadn’t lost a step in the season opener this past Thursday as they were able to light up the scoreboard against the New Orleans Saints and get off to a 1-0 start in this title defense.

Coming into the NFL regular season opener against the Arizona Cardinals, all eyes were on rookie quarterback Cam Newton as everyone wanted to see whether or not the former Heisman trophy winner and BCS champion could transcend his game on the NFL level. Week 1 of the NFL regular season looks like it could be one of the best weeks of the year for football with some great matchups to open the season, but perhaps one of the most intriguing matchups will be played at New Meadowlands Stadium when the Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Jets.

Not only are the Cowboys and the Jets considering to be two of the most talented teams in the NFL coming into this Week 1 showdown, but this game will showcase a battle of the Ryan brothers with Rex Ryan leading New York against Rob Ryan’s Dallas defense.
