Heading into training camp and preseason, the Denver Broncos and new head coach John Fox were right smack dab in the middle of a heated quarterback controversy. With arguably three of the best quarterbacks in the league in terms of being a talented trio, the Broncos have had the daunting task of trying to pick a starter between three quarterbacks that could start for many teams around the league. #1 Green Bay Packers (1-0)
The defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers proved that they hadn’t lost a step in the season opener this past Thursday as they were able to light up the scoreboard against the New Orleans Saints and get off to a 1-0 start in this title defense.
The Packers defense did give up more points than anyone had anticipated they would against Drew Brees and company, but Green Bay is still without a doubt the best team in the league. Continue Reading…
The New England Patriots have been one of the most successful NFL franchises in the league over the last decade or so with legendary head coach Bill Belichick and future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Tom Brady leading the way. Even though this team has been one of the best in the league for quite some time and is arguably one of the most storied of franchises in the NFL today, this team is not cocky and doesn’t make a spectacle of themselves in the media. Week 1 of the NFL regular season looks like it could be one of the best weeks of the year for football with some great matchups to open the season, but perhaps one of the most intriguing matchups will be played at New Meadowlands Stadium when the Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Jets.
Not only are the Cowboys and the Jets considering to be two of the most talented teams in the NFL coming into this Week 1 showdown, but this game will showcase a battle of the Ryan brothers with Rex Ryan leading New York against Rob Ryan’s Dallas defense. This will be interesting to say the least as both brothers have similar styles and learnt everything they know from their father in the legendary Buddy Ryan. Continue Reading…
