With four wins in the last five games, a lot of people around the NFL have been debating about whether or not second-year quarterback and fan favorite Tim Tebow is the real deal and the right man for the job under center for the Denver Broncos. The one loss to the Detroit Lions was pretty bad in his second start of the season, but the four wins were impressive and hard to ignore.
Coming into Week 12, Tim Tebow had the odds against him once again as the Denver Broncos were set to face off against a very desperate San Diego Chargers team. With this game being played at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego and everyone waiting for the Chargers to get back to form, the consensus was that Philip Rivers and company would dominate the Broncos and get back to their winning ways.
Unfortunately for San Diego, the Broncos were on their game once again in Week 12 as Tim Tebow helped lead Denver to their fifth win in six games, 16-13. This game was close for most of the contest with the outcome potentially either way, but the Denver defense was without a doubt the difference maker by containing the potent offense of the Chargers.
As for Tim Tebow, the up-and-coming quarterback was able to lead the Broncos on another fourth quarter comeback and force overtime. In the overtime session, the football went back and forth a few times, but the Broncos ultimately prevailed with a game-winning field goal from Matt Prater.
After winning his fifth game as a starter this season, Tebow finished with 210 total yards (143 passing, 67 rushing) and one passing touchdown. These numbers are mediocre at best, but still good enough to lead this team to victory and keep them in the hunt for the AFC West division title at 6-5.

Tebow is a natural leader and just plain wins. He doesn’t turn the ball over and is progressing each week. He will only get better and it’s near impossible to find someone with character and talent. Humility goes a long way and he makes those around him better.
