The Denver Broncos have made some considerable moves during the NFL off-season in order to build a legitimate Super Bowl title contender heading into the 2013 season.

Although the Broncos have made upgrades across the board, the team has made a questionable move or two. Denver recently screwed up the contract situation with Elvis Dumervil by accidently letting him hit the open market and failing to re-sign him before the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens signed him to a lucrative long-term deal to help replacement Ray Lewis.

Despite losing arguably one of their best defensive players to free agency and a serious lapse in judgment, Denver did acquire one of the best wide receivers available in the form of perennial Pro Bowler Wes Welker.

With the New England Patriots failing to wrap up Welker to a multi-year deal, the Patriots let the wideout walk in free agency ultimately ended up becoming one of Peyton Manning’s targets in the Broncos’ offense.

Now that Welker is in the fold with Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas, the Broncos will have one of the most dynamic passing offenses in the league. Manning will have a field day with so many different options to throw to next season, but the real question now is whether or not he’ll have a viable option coming out of the backfield.

With Knowshon Moreno and Willis McGahee not exactly dependable in terms of being injury prone, the Broncos are now considering adding veteran Ahmad Bradshaw. Although Bradshaw is also injury prone, the Broncos might go with a three-back offense using all three of the veterans at the running back position.

It is uncertain what the level of interest in Bradshaw is, but it’s safe to say he might end up in the Mile High City.
