#1 Houston Texans (8-1)
As arguably the best all-around team in the NFL, the Texans went into Soldier Field on Sunday night and came out with an impressive win over the Chicago Bears. Although the Texans were only able to put up 13 points in the victory, this was a defensive battle in which Houston outlasted arguably the best defensive team in the league.
The sky appears to be the limit for this squad with a Super Bowl run potentially on the horizon.
#2 Atlanta Falcons (8-1)
Before coming into Week 10, the Falcons were flawless with a perfect 8-0 record and the distinction as arguably the best team in the league. With a 16-0 regular season a very real possibility for Atlanta, the fans and players were all sold on a ninth win at the expense of the division rival New Orleans Saints.
Unfortunately for the Falcons, that ninth win will have to wait as Drew Brees and company handed Atlanta their first loss of the season.
#3 Chicago Bears (7-2)
As if losing on their home field to the Texans wasn’t bad enough, the Bears may have also lost quarterback Jay Cutler for a game or two after he suffered a concussion in the loss to Houston.
The Bears continue to show their dominance defensively, but without Cutler under center they may be a flawed football team offensively.
#4 San Francisco 49ers (6-2-1)
In a freak tie with the St. Louis Rams, the 49ers may have taken a step back with quarterback Alex Smith suffering a concussion. Smith continued to play with the symptoms, but might regret it moving forward.
#5 Baltimore Ravens (7-2)
The Ravens were able to light up the scoreboard in Week 10 with an impressive 55-point performance against the lowly Oakland Raiders. Even though it was the Raiders they destroyed, it was a good sign to see the offense clicking in Baltimore.
