NFL Power Rankings Week 11: Packers, 49ers stay atop rankings

#1 Green Bay Packers (9-0)

Aaron Rodgers and company have done it again after winning their ninth straight game of their Super Bowl title defense and keeping hopes alive for a perfect season!

With the blowout win over the division rival Minnesota Vikings (45-7) in Week 10, there seems to be no stopping this team this season as the competition just doesn’t compare, but this team might be challenged on Thanksgiving Day against the division rival Detroit Lions.

#2 San Francisco 49ers (8-1)

After the win over the New York Giants in Week 10, the San Francisco 49ers proved that they can compete with good teams even if they have to depend on quarterback Alex Smith as the main source of offense.

With Pro Bowl running back going down against the Giants, the 49ers might have to lean on Smith even more over the next few weeks, but head coach Jim Harbaugh seems to have this team firing on all cylinders and ready to start looking towards the playoffs.

#3 New Orleans Saints (7-3)

In Week 10, Drew Brees and company were able to get the best of a division rival for the second straight week with an impressive win over the Atlanta Falcons. Even though the New Orleans Saints weren’t able to take out the Atlanta Falcons in convincing fashion, the win might be good enough to give Sean Payton’s squad the edge in the NFC South division.

#4 Pittsburgh Steelers (7-3)

Despite the loss to the Baltimore Ravens just a week earlier, the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to stay in the Top 5 and actually move up one spot with an impressive victory over the up-and-coming Cincinnati Bengals.

With the Baltimore Ravens losing to the lowly Seattle Seahawks, the Pittsburgh Steelers are still the best team in the AFC North division and seem to be destined to clinch a playoff spot through the AFC Wild Card in the near future.

#5 Chicago Bears (6-3)

The NFC North division has been owned by the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers this season, but the Chicago Bears continue to prove that they are a force to be reckoned with and might be able to clinch the NFC Wild Card at season’s end.
