Baltimore Ravens vs Pittsburgh Steelers Sun. Oct. 3rd 1pm EST
There are few divisions in the NFL today that are as competitive as the AFC North division and this season looks like it might stand out amongst the rest as the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0), Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) and the Baltimore Ravens (2-1) have all gotten off to impressive starts this season with high hopes of competing for the AFC North division title and possibly a shot at the Super Bowl.
Obviously, the one team that has surprised everyone in the AFC North is the Pittsburgh Steelers as they have won their first three games of the season despite not having their two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Ben Roethlisberger under center due to suspension.
Big Ben just has one more game of his suspension to serve, but it is a big one as the Pittsburgh Steelers will face off against the Baltimore Ravens on their home field at Heinz Field. Even though the Steelers will be without their superstar quarterback under center, Pittsburgh is still favored to come out on top in this one with a -1.5 point spread.
Personally, I still believe the Baltimore Ravens are the better all around team as they now have the total package on both sides of the football with a potent offense to backup their lockdown defense. They may have lost one game to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2, but with Pro Bowl wide receiver Anquan Boldin and Pro Bowl running back Ray Rice this offense has become more dynamic and a serious threat to opposing defenses.
There is no doubt that Joe Flacco and company will have their work cut out for them in Week 4 against this Pittsburgh Steelers defense, but in the end I believe they will come out on top as they are the better all around team in my opinion.
