The New York Jets have been one of the busiest teams in the NFL as of late with some free agent signings that could make them a Super Bowl title contender next season once again. The first move they made was without a doubt the smartest and most important of the offseason as they re-signed their best wide receiver in free agent Santonio Holmes. The ride is officially over for 13-year veteran wide receiver Randy Moss as the controversial wideout has called it quits. There was talk that the future Hall of Famer was getting a lot of offers this offseason from plenty of different teams around the NFL, but despite being supposedly in “freakishly good shape” and ready to prove everyone wrong the 34-year-old decided to call it a career.
