Dolphins @ Colts Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 1 p.m. ET

Before heading into the 2012 NFL season, the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts were ready to turn their fortunes around by drafting potential superstar quarterbacks in Ryan Tannehill and Andrew Luck.

With Luck leading the way in Indianapolis, the Colts’ front office was hoping to breakout of the shadow of the recently released Peyton Manning. There was no doubt a lot of pressure to make the right move in the post Manning era, but the franchise believes they’ve chosen the right guy to lead them into the future under center.

After a somewhat rough start to the year with three losses in five games, the Colts have begun to turn it around after winning two straight against the Cleveland Browns (17-13) and Tennessee Titans (19-13 OT).

Obviously, taking down the Browns and Titans isn’t going to turn a lot of heads in the league, but it was a step in the right direction for a team at the beginning of a rebuilding process.

As for the Dolphins, Miami has played much better than expected this season under new head coach Joe Philbin. With a record of 4-3 headed into Week 9, the Dolphins still have a shot of contending for the AFC East division title with only the New England Patriots standing in their way at 5-3.

The major concern for Miami as of late has been the health of Tannehill, but the rookie quarterback has reportedly been practicing with the first team and will likely get the start this Sunday against the Colts.

As of right now, the Dolphins have been given the edge to come out on top on the road with a -3 point spread. Even though this game could go either way, I believe Miami is the better all-around team at this point.
