Miami Dolphins @ Dallas Cowboys Thurs. Nov. 24, 2011 4:15 p.m. EST
With a win over the division rival Washington Redskins in Week 11, the Dallas Cowboys were finally able to rise to the top of the NFC East division. Now that the Cowboys are sitting in first place in the division with a 6-4 record, America’s Team is in prime position to win the division title and get back into the playoffs.
There is no doubt that the New York Giants are still in the mix in terms of contending for the NFC East division title with an identical 6-4 record, but the Dallas Cowboys have really come on strong as of late and shown that they might be ready to become one of the league’s elite teams once again. With a potent passing game with Tony Romo under center and running game that is emerging as one of the league’s best with running back DeMarco Murray turning into a potential Pro Bowler, the Cowboys’ offense is finally becoming what everyone thought it would be.
In Week 12, the Dallas Cowboys will once again play on Thanksgiving Day, but this time around they might have a fairly easy task at hand as they are set to face off against the Miami Dolphins who have only won three games all season long. Despite winning just three games thus far, the Dolphins have come to life as of late with those three wins coming over the last three weeks.
Even though the lowly Miami Dolphins might finally be turning the corner this season, the Dallas Cowboys are a much better all-around football team right now and will almost certainly get their seventh win on the year on Thanksgiving Day.
As of right now, the Dallas Cowboys are favored to get the win Thursday with a -7 point spread.
