Just like the NFL did a little more than a 100 days ago, the NBA has now locked out the players and restricted any business being conducted between players and teams until a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) is agreed upon. This doesn’t really come as much of a surprise to teams and players around the league as this was predicted even before the start of last season, but with all the trouble the NFL has been going through as of late to get their new CBA in place the hope was that the NBA would wise up and not follow in those footsteps. After landing a big fish in the 2011 NBA draft by drafting scoring machine Jimmer Fredette out of BYU, the Sacramento Kings weren’t done improving their struggling franchise as they just made a trade to send Omri Casspi to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for J.J.
