NFL Week 4: New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills

Patriots @ Bills Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 1 p.m. ET

Over the past decade or so, the AFC East division has been absolutely dominated by the New England Patriots. Every single season that superstar quarterback Tom Brady takes snaps under center, the Patriots have a chance to contend for another Super Bowl title and this season was thought to be no different.

Even though New England has been clearly deficient on the defensive side of the football over the past few years, Bill Belichick’s offense has been potent enough to lead this team to numerous division titles and appearances in the Super Bowl.

After losing two of the first three games of the season, there is major concern brewing in New England with some believing that the reign of Brady and Belichick may be over.

In Week 4, the Patriots will need to get back on track as they will faced off against the division rival Buffalo Bills. Despite being a flawed football team in many areas, the Bills are still a force to be reckoned with offensively and may be able to do enough to pull off the upset against their division rivals in Buffalo on Sunday.

There’s no doubt that Belichick and company will be prepared for battle heading into Sunday’s matchup after losing two consecutive games. Not only will the Patriots want to get back to .500, but with this being a divisional matchup, the stakes are higher and a win is desperately needed.

As of right now, the Patriots are favored to get the win over their division rivals with a -5 point spread. This game will almost certainly be close in Buffalo, but with New England forced into a corner, I expect Brady to have a classic performance and lead the Patriots to a win.

Take the Patriots at -5.
