Game 6: Spurs @ Heat Tues. June 18, 2025 9 p.m. ET
The defending NBA champion Miami Heat will have their backs up against the wall once again during the NBA Finals with the San Antonio Spurs bouncing back from a Game 4 loss to LeBron James and company with an impressive win in Game 5.
With the Spurs taking Game 5 in convincing fashion, Gregg Popovich’s squad will hit the road for Game 6 and potentially Game 7 in South Beach. One win separates the Spurs from a fifth NBA title in franchise history with the team confident they’ll close out the defending champions in Miami on Tuesday night.
Although the Spurs have proven to be formidable opponents against the favored Heat squad, San Antonio will be put to the test yet again with Miami in a must-win situation at home on Tuesday night on their home floor.
As expected, the Heat is heavily favored to win Game 6 with a -7.5 point spread. Although the Spurs have been the Heat’s toughest test in the postseason thus far, Miami will likely be out to prove a point in Game 6 that they’re still the best all-around team in the NBA with a dominating performance in front of their fans in South Beach.
Despite the Heat being heavily favored to tie up the series at three games apiece, the pressure will be on LeBron to step up and produce the best performance of his career with a win at home.
As of right now, the spread stands at -7.5 in favor of Miami to even the series at 3-3. This game may very well go either way, but in the end the Heat will come out victorious while putting on a show in South Beach and forcing a Game 7 in the NBA Finals.
Prediction: Heat -7.5
