New York Jets vs Miami Dolphins Sun. Sept. 26th 8:20pm EST
The New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins are two AFC East teams that are riding high right now as they are coming off some impressive wins against the New England Patriots and the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2.
In my opinion, the Miami Dolphins got a little bit lucky against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 as Brett Favre and company were having an off day, but their defense was legit and could quite possibly be amongst the best in the league at season’s end. We have some of the NFL football betting odds below. Continue Reading…
San Diego Chargers vs Seattle Seahawks Sun. Sept. 26th 4:15pm EST
The San Diego Chargers came into this season with Super Bowl aspirations once again, but were given somewhat of a wakeup call in Week 1 against the division rival Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football as Philip Rivers and company were only able to put up 14 points on an uncharacteristically good Chiefs defense.
Needless to say, the Chiefs went on to win 21-14 and the talk of the Chargers falling apart once again began to circulate around the league. Continue Reading…
Indianapolis Colts vs Denver Broncos Sun. Sept. 26th 4:15pm EST
The Indianapolis Colts came into this NFL regular season with Super Bowl aspirations and practically every NFL analysts and former player backing them to go all the way this season and lift the Lombardi trophy for the second time in the Peyton Manning era, but after Week 1’s devastating loss to the division rival Houston Texans, many people started to question whether or not this defense could compliment the potent offense.
Fortunately, in Week 2 the defense did just that as Dwight Freeney and company had Peyton’s baby brother Eli running for his life with constant pressure on every snap made by the New York Giants. As a result, both the Colts offense and defense dominated on Sunday night and gave Indianapolis their first win of the season 38-14. The spread with this matchup has the Colts at -5.5 by Bodog, one of the top US A online sportsbooks anywhere. Continue Reading…
Detroit Lions vs Minnesota Vikings Sun. Sept. 26th 1pm EST
The Minnesota Vikings are arguably one of the best teams in the NFL today as they have a lockdown defense led by perennial Pro Bowl defensive end Jared Allen, a solid air attack with three-time NFL MVP quarterback Brett Favre under center and arguably the best ground game in the league with superstar running back Adrian Peterson coming out of the backfield.
Even with all these things going for them this season, the Vikings have still lost the first two games of the season to the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints and the up and coming Miami Dolphins. Continue Reading…
New Orleans Saints @ San Francisco 49ers Mon. Sept. 20th 8:30pm EST
The San Francisco 49ers came into the NFL regular season with high hopes of winning the NFC West division as they were looking to take advantage of both the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals as they start the beginning an extension rebuilding process. Even though head coach Mike Singletary seemed to have all the right pieces of the puzzle in place to become NFC West champions this season, they were given a big time wakeup call in Week 1 as the Seahawks dominated the 49ers with a score of 38-6.
Obviously, this loss took a huge toll on the San Francisco 49ers as their high expectations basically went in the toilet, but they will have a chance to redeem themselves in Week 2 if they can give the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints a run for their money on their home field.
With the devastating loss in Week 1 to the division rival Seattle Seahawks, 49ers head coach Mike Singletary knew that some drastic changes had to be made if they wanted to contend with the likes of the Saints, but despite most likely making these changes, San Francisco will almost certainly struggle against Drew Brees and company. Arizona Cardinals vs Atlanta Falcons Sun. Sept. 19th 1pm EST
The Arizona Cardinals are a team in the middle of a transition period as the saw their superstar quarterback Kurt Warner retire in the offseason and released what was supposed to be the future face of the franchise in quarterback Matt Leinart.
The Cardinals are actually 6.5 point underdogs in this weeks match up according to BetUS, one of the leading online sportsbooks. Continue Reading…
Atlanta Falcons @ Pittsburgh Steelers Sun. Sept. 12th 1pm EST
Last season the Pittsburgh Steelers came into the year as the defending Super Bowl champions and extremely confident they could repeat as they had relatively the same team intact, but despite having confidence in their title defense, a knee injury to superstar safety Troy Polamalu was enough to bring everything crashing down.
Starting off the season as underdogs, the Steelers are -2 as set by the odds of BetUs, one of the leading USA online sportsbooks on the Web. Continue Reading…
Cincinnati Bengals @ New England Patriots Sun. Sept. 12th 1pm EST
With a much improved offense, the Cincinnati Bengals will be heading into the 2010 NFL season with high hopes of repeating as AFC North division champs and possible contending for a Super Bowl title, but they will definitely have their work cut out for them in the AFC Conference as teams like the New England Patriots will be looking to reclaim their dominance in the conference. The odds for this matchup are set at 4.5 in favor of the Patriots by two of the leading online sportsbooks; Bodog and Bookmaker.
Obviously, the addition of perennial Pro Bowl wide receiver Terrell Owens alongside another Pro Bowl wideout in Chad Ochocinco is a huge upgrade for quarterback Carson Palmer and the Bengals offense, but with two explosive personalities on the gridiron this new superstar offense could quickly implode and do more harm than good. Last season the Green Bay Packers had one of the most potent offenses in the league led by Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers and a dominant defense led by the Defensive Player of the Year in cornerback Charles Woodson, but even though they had an offense that could lit up the scoreboard and a defense that could shutdown opposing teams, they weren’t able to get past the Arizona Cardinals in the playoffs.
This year the Packers have seemed to gotten even better in the offseason as they have improved their offensive line and have Aaron Rodgers ready to lead this team to a Super Bowl title. Get in early on the Packers winning it all this year at the best online sportsbooks. Continue Reading…
Last season the Cincinnati Bengals were amongst the best teams in the league on both sides of the football they were finally able to get things going with a healthy Carson Palmer, a dominant running game with Cedric Benson and a surprisingly good defense. The online sportsbooks really seemed to like them last season.
As a result, the Cincinnati Bengals dominated the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers throughout the regular season and won the AFC North division for the first time since 2005. Continue Reading…
