Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are understood to be the two clubs battling to sign the France global, with just hours of the summer transfer window remaining, but his worldwide coach would not reveal whether the player was in west London or north London.
Paul Merson is not convinced but Tottenham Hotspur signing Moussa Sissoko.
The 27-year-old midfielder has signed a deal which will keep him at White Hart Lane until at least 2021.
Now, it seems as though it is just a matter of dotting the I's and crossing the T's before Sissoko is confirmed as a Tottenham player.
It is claimed that the Blues are willing to pay more than Spurs and that Chelsea have held talks with Sissoko's representatives. "But if we are not happy, then he can stay here and I will be really, really pleased to keep him". "To play as much as I have with [the first team]...has been vital for my progression as a player".
"Everyone knows, I have often said when I was young, my heart was Arsenal because there were a lot of French players there", Sissoko said this year.

He will now return to France during the worldwide break to be reunited with Didier Deschamps' squad ahead of his country's friendly against Italy before taking on Belarus in their first World Cup qualifier.
That led Everton boss Ronald Koeman believing the deal was all but done, and various reports have emerged suggesting that a private jets and the contracts were all ready and waiting for Sissoko in Liverpool.
Sissoko had been tipped to leave Newcastle all summer following their relegation to the Championship and he attracted plenty of interest after putting in some excellent displays at Euro 2016. "I am in the prime of my career and I want to play for a big team".
Sissoko tweeted: "I'm very happy to join Spurs for the next five years".
"He's a good friend for me", Sissoko told the club's official website. I hope that they will be smart enough to understand that, to continue my development, I need to keep playing at the highest level.
