Atlanta Falcons vs Cleveland Browns Sun. Oct. 10th 1pm EST
The Atlanta Falcons came into this NFL regular season on a mission to prove that they are still a force to be reckoned with in the NFC Conference and in just four short weeks, Matt Ryan and company have done just that as they have shown signs of life on both sides of the football. Not only are the Falcons sporting a 3-1 record heading into Week 5, but they were also able to get the best of the defending Super Bowl champion and division rival New Orleans Saints for the first time since 2002 which will almost certainly give them some much needed confidence for the rest of the season.
Whether or not the Atlanta Falcons can win the NFC South division remains to be seen as there is still a lot of football to be played, but they are sitting pretty right now as they will come into their matchup with the Cleveland Browns on a three game winning streak.
Even though the Cleveland Browns aren’t exactly amongst the elite teams in the league right now, they are coming off a win over the defending AFC North division champions in the Cincinnati Bengals and will be confident that they will be able to beat the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5.
Unfortunately, even though the Browns have a promising running game with Peyton Hillis coming out of the backfield, I believe they are in for a long day against the Falcons who can hurt this team on both sides of the football.
As of right now, the Atlanta Falcons are favored to come out on top in Week 5 with a -3 point spread and I believe that is an ideal spread for the avid sports bettor.
