Bears @ Vikings Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 1 p.m. ET

The race for the NFC North division title is coming down to the wire once again with the Green Bay Packers experiencing a resurgence as of late and the Chicago Bears starting to struggle with three losses in the last four games.

Even though the Bears have seemingly finally figured out how to turn things around in the Windy City with a vastly improved offense and one of the best defenses in the NFL, Chicago’s struggles as of late may very well cost them the division title and a playoff berth in the NFC.

Ironically enough, one of the worst statistical categories for the Bears this season has been one of their biggest improvements. With the addition of Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Marshall, Jay Cutler has been able to get the passing game going with a legitimate target downfield along with the ground game led by running back Matt Forte.

Marshall is having a solid season after being reunited with Cutler with 1,182 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. The Pro Bowler is only sitting behind Calvin Johnson (1,428 yards) of the division rival Detroit Lions in the that category in the NFL this season.

Although Marshall is having another Pro Bowl caliber season, the Bears are ranked 31st in passing yards with only 181.3 per game.

Coming into Week 14’s matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, the Bears are in desperate need of a win to stay in the hunt for the division title and might have an advantage with Percy Harvin place on the injured reserve list on Wednesday.

As of right now, the Bears have been given the edge on the road with a -3 point spread. Chicago will get the win and cover the spread.

Take the Bears at -3.
