NFL Power Rankings Week 13 Ravens bump 49ers for second spot

#1 Green Bay Packers (11-0)

Many people believed that a perfect season was unlikely for the Green Bay Packers this season, but after the first 11 games of the NFL regular season this team continues to fire on all cylinders with 11 straight wins and arguably the best team in the league.

Whether or not the Packers can win the next five games remains to be seen, but I believe it is definitely possible as long as they can stay healthy.

#2 Baltimore Ravens (8-3)

With a win over the San Francisco 49ers in the Harbaugh Bowl on Thanksgiving Day, the Baltimore Ravens were able to drop the 49ers to the third spot on these NFL power rankings. This is a bit premature in my opinion as the Ravens are as streaky as any team in the league, but when Baltimore is firing on all cylinders they can seemingly beat anyone in the league.

#3 San Francisco 49ers (9-2)

In my opinion, the San Francisco 49ers is still the second-best team in the NFL. With a lockdown defense and a formidable offense, the 49ers have been clicking this season under new head coach Jim Harbaugh.

The loss to the Baltimore Ravens may have been a little bit of a setback, but I believe the 49ers will bounce back with a vengeance and end the regular season with the second-best record in the league.

#4 New Orleans Saints (8-3)

The New Orleans Saints are officially the real deal! With a dominant win over the New York Giants in Week 12, Drew Brees and company look like they have really hit their stride and if they keep it up they might be the toughest competition for the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs.

#5 Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3)

The Pittsburgh Steelers struggled in Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs and may have lost arguably their best defensive player in Troy Polamalu (concussion) in the process. This team seems destined to fail this season as I believe they aren’t the same team as last season.
