Clinton blasts Trump's comments on military generals, Putin

So, after sending out his running mate to double down on his remarks about Putin, on Thursday night Trump did an interview with the state-funded Russian TV network RT.

Speaking to reporters Thursday morning, Clinton suggested she agreed with Democrats who say she is being held to a different standard in the White House race.

"Every day that goes by, this just becomes more and more of a reality television show", she said.

Former President Bill Clinton assailed Donald Trump's recent impromptu visit to Mexico as misleading and warned it might endanger trust in the United States by allies around the world.

Clinton criticized Trump for not acknowledging that Putin has invaded Ukraine, saying the Republican nominee "approved of (Putin's) wishlist" and doesn't "even really" understand "what Putin has already done" and calling his praise "an unseemly identification".

At Wednesday night's NBC forum, Trump once again praised Putin.

Trump's interview with King was promoted by RT America as an exclusive.

"If you want to be president, you have to say the same things at home and overseas".

Mr. Trump said he wasn't sure how much Mr. Johnson's gaffe on Thursday - when the former New Mexico governor had to ask what Aleppo was in an MSNBC interview - would actually hurt him. "Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing", Trump said during a press conference at one of his South Florida resorts.

The press laughed with the Democratic nominee as she basically rolled her eyes at Donald Trump's antics. "Last night, Twitter tore him a new tweethole with criticisms NY magazine summed up by saying, 'Matt Lauer's interviews of Clinton and Trump were a complete disgrace to journalism'". Pence called it "inarguable" that Putin is a stronger leader than the US president. "What it means is 'I'll give you an economy you had 50 years ago, and I'll move you back up on the social totem pole and other people down, '" he said.

"No one who wants to assume the responsibility of being president and commander-in-chief should be making the kinds of reckless and risky statements and identifying with a regime that has some aggressive tendencies towards our interests, our values, our friends and allies".

It is all rather confounding - unless Trump is simply eyeing postelection business interests - for congressional Republicans, who evince little doubt that Moscow was behind the hack of the Democratic National Committee. Although this claim has been debunked by news agencies in the past, Lauer completely missed the mark to call Trump out on his obvious falsehood.

For their part, Democrats were at once dumbfounded over Trump's latest verbal excess, gleeful over a fresh opportunity to portray him as unpresidential and irritated that he had not been not pressed more aggressively by Lauer. I thought he was very professional, ' Trump said.
