#1 Green Bay Packers (3-0)
Despite being tested in the first three weeks of the season against the potent offense of the New Orleans Saints in the season opener and then trying to contain the next superstar quarterback in Cam Newton in Week 2, the Green Bay Packers were thought to be a little flawed on defense, but just as good as they were when they lifted the Vince Lombardi trophy last season.
In Week 3, Aaron Rodgers and company went up against their arch rivals in the Chicago Bears and were able to come out on top in convincing fashion. This win showed that the Packers might not be able to be stopped this season and therefore they are still the top dogs in the power rankings.
#2 New Orleans Saints (2-1)
Only the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers look like a better team than the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Conference at this point in the NFL regular season, but they look like they might have to light up the scoreboard every single week to keep up this kind of dominance.
#3 New England Patriots (2-1)
The New England Patriots took a pretty big blow in Week 3 with Golden Boy Tom Brady throwing a career-high four interceptions and losing to the division rival Buffalo Bills. This loss was a wakeup call for Bill Belichick and company as they clearly need to upgrade their defense to compete with potent offenses this season.
#4 Detroit Lions (3-0)
Much like the Buffalo Bills, the Detroit Lions are officially the real deal and legitimate playoff contenders this season after starting this season with a perfect 3-0 record for the first time since 1980.
#5 Baltimore Ravens (2-1)
The Baltimore Ravens may have lost to the Tennessee Titans in Week 2, but they were able to bounce back in Week 3 by blowing out the St. Louis Rams, 37-7.
