The NBA rookie of the year award is an assessment of the best young and talented players in their first year in the league. Even though any player that is able to make it all away to the NBA level is an extremely talented basketball player, only about a handful of the talented players of XE come into the league every year have it takes to make it on the next level.
This season we’ve seen some really talented rookies come into the NBA, but only one that is really shined above the rest in the form of the Los Angeles Clippers Blake Griffin. Blessed with the ability to fly to the sky and throw down some unbelievable dunks that are showcased on highlight reels on nightly basis, Griffin is taken the NBA by storm and gotten a lot of people interested in the Los Angeles Clippers once again.
Not only is Blake Griffin extremely entertaining to watch as you never know when to throw down the next unbelievable jam, but he is also very talented with many different skills that will almost certainly improve the time.
Unless a miracle happens from here on out, there’s no way I see any other rookie in the league winning the Rookie of the Year award.
Other Rookie of the Year candidates:
John Wall, Washington Wizards
As this season’s number one overall pick in the NBA draft, John wall had a lot of pressure on him to succeed early in his time with the Washington Wizards. So far, the talented young point guard out of Kentucky hasn’t disappointed as he’s played really well, but he will still need time to mature and improve his skills in order to get the Wizards back in playoff contention.
