St. Louis Rams vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sun. Oct. 24th 1pm EST
The consensus heading into this NFL regular season was that the St. Louis Rams and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were headed towards yet another year of disappointment as they didn’t have the most promising squads, but despite the odds being against them, the Rams and the Bucs have played surprisingly well to start the year and have three wins a piece to show for it heading into their head to head matchup in Week 7.
Obviously, both the Rams and the Bucs are a stretch to make it into the playoffs as their divisions are pretty competitive right now, but they continue to surprise teams week in and week out and anything can happen from here on out.
The two most surprising things about these two up and coming teams this season has been the play of the young quarterbacks as Rams rookie quarterback Sam Bradford (Oklahoma) has played as advertised and Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman has started to turn some heads with his impressive play.
As of right now, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the team favored to come out on top in this showdown between these two teams with a -2.5 point spread, but I believe the St. Louis Rams might get the best of Josh Freeman and company as Sam Bradford has continues to prove that he is worth his enormous contract that he signed before the season began.
One of the keys to this victory for the Rams in my opinion will be the play of rookie quarterback Sam Bradford and running back Steven Jackson. If these two talented players can get going early and often, I see the Rams getting cruising to victory and improving to 4-3 this season.
