Pittsburgh Steelers vs Miami Dolphins Sun. Oct. 24th 1pm EST
The Pittsburgh Steelers came into this NFL regular season with a lot of question marks surrounding their storied franchise as the defense seemed to lose its edge last season and two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was about to serve a four game suspension.
Fortunately, even though a lot of people believed that the Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens were the teams to beat in the AFC North division, the Pittsburgh Steelers have played much better than expected over the first six weeks of the season and as a result are in first place in the division with a 4-1 record. Check out some of the odds for this match up below at the worlds bets NFL football betting sites.
Not only were the Steelers able to stay afloat without Big Ben under center, but they could be the best team in the league right now heading into Week 7’s matchup against the defensive minded Miami Dolphins.
Along with sitting atop the AFC North division, the Steelers were able to get their starting gunslinger under center once again last week and the results were one more win and a team that looks ready to contend for yet another Super Bowl title.
As of right now, the Pittsburgh Steelers are favored with a point spread of -3 to come out on top in Week 7, but even though I believe the Miami Dolphins are capable of pulling off the slight upset, I really can’t see Big Ben and company losing this one as they will almost certainly cover the spread and win their second straight game.
The only way I see the Dolphins coming away with a win here is if their defense can force Ben Roethlisberger to show some signs of rust, but that will most likely not happen as he looked pretty good last week and will look to continue that in Week 7.
