Last season the Tennessee Titans got off to a really rough start as they lost their first six games of the season and looked like arguably the worst team in the NFL, but after head coach Jeff Fisher gave quarterback Vince Young another shot under center, the team was rejuvenated and got right back on track by winning eight of the next ten games of the season.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to get them back into playoff contention in the AFC Conference, but this season they have gotten off to an impressive start to the season by winning five of their first seven games of the year and leading the way in the AFC South division. This is a great matchup for this weeks NFL football betting.

Coming into Week 8, it appears that the Tennessee Titans are the real deal and almost certainly playoff bound if they can keep this momentum going moving forward, but they might face a tough task this week against an extremely desperate San Diego Chargers team that needs a win more than any team in the league right now.

There is no question that the San Diego Chargers are arguably one of the most talented teams in the league and lead in a lot of categories on both sides of the football this season, but they just can’t seem to close out teams as they have had trouble with turnovers.

Even though Philip Rivers and company have only won two games so far this season, they are infamously slow starters and always seem to flip the switch at some point in the season.

As of right now, the Chargers are -4 point favorites to beat the Titans in Week 8 and even though this may be the week they break out of their slump, I would say this is a little too risky.
