New Orleans Saints @ Baltimore Ravens Sun. Dec. 19th 2010 1pm EST
The defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints had a rough start to the season and suffered some disappointing losses to teams like the Cleveland Browns and the Arizona Cardinals, but despite not playing like Super Bowl champs they have been come on strong as of late with six straight wins coming into this Week 15 showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.
Even though the Saints are riding high right now and seem to be back to Super Bowl title contender status, Drew Brees and company will have their work cut out for them this week against the lockdown defense of the Baltimore Ravens. This is a great NFL football betting matchup.
Despite losing to the division rival Pittsburgh Steelers a couple of weeks ago and barely being able to get out alive against the Houston Texans this past Monday, the Baltimore Ravens are still one of the toughest teams to beat in the NFL this season and will be giving everything they have this weekend defending their home field against the New Orleans Saints.
As of right now, the Baltimore Ravens will have the advantage coming into this one with a -1.5 point spread their favor, but I believe the defending champs will have a few tricks up their sleeve this weekend as head coach Sean Payton will without doubt look to take advantage of the defensive flaws the Ravens showed last Monday against the Texans.
Ultimately, this game should be a hard fought battle between both teams from start to finish, but in the end I believe the New Orleans Saints will win their seventh straight. They may have not looked like it in the beginning of the season, but now they seem to have a legitimate shot of repeating as Super Bowl champions.
