Cincinnati Bengals @ Indianapolis Colts Sun. Nov. 14th 2010 1pm EST
The Indianapolis Colts got a rude awakening last week when they were seemingly helpless to stop quarterback Michael Vick (218 passing yards, 74 rushing yards and two total touchdowns) and the Philadelphia Eagles 26-24.
Even though it was their third loss of the season, Peyton Manning and company are still in the mix for the AFC South division title with the Tennessee Titans, but they will have to get back to their winning ways this week against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Fortunately, despite the fact that the Cincinnati Bengals do have the ability to pull off the upset this week, the Indianapolis Colts are favored pretty big in this game with a -7 point spread.
Coming into this NFL regular season the Bengals had high hopes of defending their AFC North division title and getting back into the playoffs while possibly contending for a Super Bowl title, but Cincinnati has really struggled to play consistently well this year even with the addition of superstar wide receiver Terrell Owens alongside Pro Bowl wideout Chad Ochocinco.
There is no doubt in my mind that this Week 10 matchup between the Colts and the Bengals will be a blowout as the Cincinnati defense will struggle against the potent offense of Indianapolis. Not only will the Bengals be headed for their sixth straight loss of the season, but fourth-time NFL MVP quarterback Peyton Manning will be looking to get his team on track with a big game to prove that they are still a legitimate Super Bowl title contender.
The -7 point spread is a bit high, but I believe that it is a solid bet as the Indianapolis Colts will almost certainly come out on top and by a convincing margin.
