Once Michael Vick was given a second chance by the Philadelphia Eagles many believed he never see the field due to playing behind both Donovan McNabb and Kevin Kolb. A few years later, McNabb is out of the league and Kolb is struggling to keep his job with the Arizona Cardinals while Vick is a $100 million dollar man once again.

Before last season, there were some high expectations for arguably one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league. With Vick’s speed and arm strength back to form, there seemed to be no stopping the rejuvenated superstar as he was getting the job done on and off the field.

Unfortunately, one problem remained as Vick was unable to stay healthy last year and as a result the Eagles struggled to live up to the hype of being the league’s most talented football team.

Heading into the preseason this time around, Vick was looking to get back on track, but the same problem remains as he’s struggled with his health once again.

In the two preseason games he’s played, Vick has completed only four passes and been knocked out of the game twice due to injury. The most recent injury caused major reasons for concern with Vick undergoing an MRI to see the extent of the damage.

Reportedly, the three-time Pro Bowler hasn’t broken any ribs as the results came back negative. Despite that being the case, this seems to be a reoccurring problem for the star quarterback as he simply can’t stay healthy and may never be able to.

With rookie backup Nick Foles making a name for himself in the first two preseason games with four touchdown passes to one interception, Vick’s job may be in danger moving forward.
