Jordan Reed missed practice again on Thursday, and some are wondering if the Washington Redskins tight end needs to consider giving up football.
Washington coach Jay Gruden confirmed that Reed has been diagnosed with a concussion and is in the NFL's concussion protocol.
But that's a lot to ask in such a short time frame and Reed has a history of concussions - two documented during his time at the University of Florida and three admitted in the NFL.
Reed leads the Redskins with 33 catches and 316 yards and is tied for the team lead with two TD receptions.
Washington defensive back Su'a Cravens (36), here talking to an official during a game September 25, said in a social-media post he has permanent vision damage as the result of a concussion. But Gruden made clear that he wasn't counting Reed out for Sunday, when the 3-2 Redskins will host the 3-1 Eagles at FedEx Field.
China criticizes European import duties on steel
He added, "It shows taking seriously the need to more quickly defend the industry against unfair dumping of steel". According to Chinese authorities , China has met its 2015 goals regarding overcapacity cuts.
He missed the final six games of his rookie National Football League season in 2013 because of concussion-like symptoms.
"Due to my concussion, my eyes have lost the memory to keep track of moving objects, so I have to wear these (glasses) for the rest of my life", Cravens said in the video, adding sarcastically, "Thanks, concussions". We have to just take each individual injury for what they are.
It would also be his second one in as many years, so it's starting to become a major concern for the young tight end. We obviously want him to get well.
"He's a very talented player", quarterback Kirk Cousins said. If he's unable to go, expect capable backups Vernon Davis and Niles Paul to see increased duties. "We got talent at that position, so hopefully we won't feel the drop-off as bad".
