Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has signed a new deal that will tie him to the La Liga giants until 2022.
The Germany midfielder, who joined the club from Bayern Munich in 2014, had been linked with a Premier League move earlier this year.
Real Madrid have announced Germany worldwide Toni Kroos has signed a contract extension with the Spanish giants, keeping him at the club until June 2022.
Kroos has since become a key player at the Santiago Bernabeu, forming an impressive midfield alongside Luka Modric and Casemiro last season as Real conquered the Champions League.
"Real Madrid and Toni Kroos have agreed on the extension of the contract which will keep the player at the club until June 30, 2025", Real said in a statement.

But he also dismissed the revelations as "nothing more than a distraction" from race against Democrat Hillary Clinton . Republican leaders who withdrew their support for Trump included 2008 nominee John McCain, a USA senator from Arizona.
The club announced the news via Twitter on Wednesday.
German publication Bild had previously revealed that the player was close to agreeing the new deal, which makes him the highest paid German footballer ever.
Wales worldwide Bale has won two Champions Leagues and a King's Cup in three full seasons with Real, scoring 65 goals in all competitions.
Per Jose Felix Diaz of Marca, manager Pep Guardiola reportedly attempted to bring Kroos to Manchester City in the summer, but Real have now secured his services for the foreseeable future.
