Spurs Gained a Multi-Year Contract Extension from Ginolbi

It has been officially announced that a multi-year contract extension between guard Manu Ginolbi and the San Antonio Spurs has been signed, but no details or information has been released regarding the signed extension agreement. The details were not released as per club policy terms that are within the contract.

The 32-year-old Argentina Native has been with the Spurs for eight seasons. He was first picked in 1999 by the Spurs as number 57. In 2008, he was named NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year and has helped the Spurs make their way to the victories of three NBA titles. He was also named All-Star in both 2005 and then three years later, he was the Sixth Man but the very first South American to earn All-NBA honors when being selected for the Third Team. The Fate of Jason Campbell

Unlike the NBA or the MLB, the NFL doesn’t really see many trades between teams as things in football don’t really work the same way, well, at least until now.

This past weekend the Philadelphia Eagles made an extremely risky gamble by trading their Pro Bowl quarterback and face of the franchise in Donovan McNabb to the division rivals Washington Redskins. Not only was this move risky as McNabb has been very successful for them, but the trade sends one of the best quarterbacks in the league to a team in their division in the NFC East. Manu Ginobili gets three year extension with Spurs

One of the most successful NBA franchises over the past 15 years or so has been without a doubt the San Antonio Spurs. No matter what changes this NBA franchise goes through they always put a great basketball team on the floor every single night and have a legitimate shot at contending for an NBA title in any given season.

This season has been somewhat of a wakeup call for the San Antonio Spurs as they have seen good teams in the Western Conference become great teams with young talent and superb coaching. Continue Reading…

Tracy McGrady back to the Magic?

Over his entire career in the NBA, superstar guard Tracy McGrady has been labeled as injury prone and a player with a huge upside, but extremely undependable.

No matter the expectations coming into the season for the Houston Rockets, Tracy McGrady always seems to end up on the bench with some kind of injury that keeps him on the sidelines more than on the floor.

This season the Houston Rockets decided that enough is enough and agreed to parts ways with their former face of the franchise as he isn’t getting any younger and the team has some promising talent in Aaron Brooks and Trevor Ariza. Continue Reading…

Is Jason Taylor heading to New York?

No matter how bitter a rivalry or hatred for another team can be in professional sports, money definitely talks and seems to lure in big name players to very unlikely places.

This NFL offseason has really started to get shaken up as of late after we saw two teams in the NFC East division, arguably the best division in football with the most heated rivalries, make a trade that has completely changed the look and feel of both these NFL franchises. Continue Reading…

There has been a lot of speculation about what the future holds for the Philadelphia Eagles as they had three Pro Bowl caliber quarterbacks on their squad. Not only are these three quarterbacks amongst the best in the league, but they had very high trade value coming into the NFL offseason after the Eagles lost to their arch rivals in the Dallas Cowboys.

With that being said the Eagle were thought to make a deal this offseason, but the question of which one of these quarterbacks would be leaving town still remained a mystery. Continue Reading…
