Tracy McGrady back to the Magic?

Over his entire career in the NBA, superstar guard Tracy McGrady has been labeled as injury prone and a player with a huge upside, but extremely undependable.

No matter the expectations coming into the season for the Houston Rockets, Tracy McGrady always seems to end up on the bench with some kind of injury that keeps him on the sidelines more than on the floor.

This season the Houston Rockets decided that enough is enough and agreed to parts ways with their former face of the franchise as he isn’t getting any younger and the team has some promising talent in Aaron Brooks and Trevor Ariza.

As a result, the Houston Rockets pulled the trigger on a deal which sent McGrady to the Big Apple to play for head coach Mike D’Antoni and the New York Knicks.

At first glance, this deal was great for both teams as everyone seemed to come out on top, but McGrady is in the last year of his contract and everyone knows that the Knicks have their sights set on signing LeBron James or another big name free agent this summer like Dwyane Wade.

With that being said, McGrady’s future is very much up in the air as not many teams will be looking for an aging, injury prone superstar, but the one team that might think about taking him on is one of McGrady’s former teams in the Orlando Magic.

Obviously, the Magic don’t really need him as they already have a team jam packed with talent, but he would definitely be a great addition to the bench and might be able to work his way into the starting lineup in the future.

The two-time scoring has already said that he would take less money in New York so he might do the same for Orlando if they reach out to him.
