NFL Week 15: New England Patriots @ Denver Broncos Brady vs Tebow

New England Patriots @ Denver Broncos Sun. Dec. 18, 2011 4:15 p.m. EST

Tim Tebow mania continues in the Mile High City with the second-year quarterback leading the Denver Broncos to a sixth straight win and seven wins in eight games. Even though Tebow has single-handedly led the Broncos from last place to first place in the AFC West division ahead of the arch rival Oakland Raiders, this week’s matchup against the 10-3 New England Patriots will be arguably their toughest test of the season.

The Denver Broncos may be on a six game-winning streak coming into Week 15, but the New England Patriots aren’t far behind with five straight wins of their own. It would be hard to say that the Broncos have the advantage in this matchup against the Patriots, but New England does have arguably one of the worst defenses in the league this season.

With the worst passing defense in the NFL, the New England Patriots will give Tim Tebow the chance to be successful through the air. Despite having the ability to pass the football in Week 15, Tebow will still try to hurt the secondary in the ground game with his legs. This might have the potential to be the best game of the season for Tim Tebow and company, but I believe that the New England Patriots will view this as a statement game and will finally end the Denver Broncos hot streak.

As of right now, the New England Patriots are favored to come out on top in the Mile High City on Sunday with a -7 point spread. This spread is high for a team going up against Tim Tebow who has consistently has been able to lead the Broncos from behind, but this week will be different.
