Tim Tebow mania is at an all-time high right now in the Mile High City as the second-year phenom has been able to lead the Denver Broncos to an AFC West division title, a playoff berth and now a playoff win. Even though the odds have been against Tebow and the Broncos throughout this season, this team and their new leader under center continue to come through in the clutch.
The win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card game was impressive as not many people thought the Denver Broncos would be able to contend with the best defense in the NFL after three straight losses, but fortunately for Denver this team came together and put on yet another show in front of the hometown crowd.
In the next playoff matchup, the Denver Broncos will have their work cut out for them once again with a tough test against the high-powered offense of the New England Patriots. With the Patriots beating the Broncos and ending their six-game winning streak earlier in the season, New England showed Denver that they can defeat them in convincing fashion which makes this upcoming game intriguing to say the least.
Another intriguing part of this playoff matchup is the unavoidable comparison between the superstar quarterbacks Tim Tebow and three-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady. There is no question that Brady has the edge here, but with the way Tebow has been playing this season either team and player could come out on top.
Tim Tebow has shown his respect for Tom Brady by saying that he can learn how to be a better quarterback in the NFL by learning from the two-time MVP. Despite the admiration for his opponent, the fact is that Tebow will have to have another big day this week to keep up with Tom Brady and company.
