Baltimore Ravens @ Houston Texans Mon. Dec. 13th 2010 8:30pm EST
Last week the Baltimore Ravens were hoping to basically wrap up the AFC North division title with a win over the division rival Pittsburgh Steelers, but even though they seemed to have the game in hand throughout the majority of the contest, in the end Ben Roethlisberger and company were able to come out on top with the win and a first place standing within the division.
Now that the Baltimore Ravens are sitting in second place in their division, Joe Flacco and company will have to step it up from here on out in order to get back into contention for the AFC North division title and be playoff bound at season’s end. We like Bodog Sportsbook odds for this NFL football betting matchup.
Despite having an uphill battle from here on out, the Ravens will head into this Monday Night Football showdown with the clear advantage to get the win over the Houston Texans. Even though the Texans have one of the most potent offenses in the NFL with the three-headed monster of quarterback Matt Schaub, running back Arian Foster and superstar wide receiver Andre Johnson, they will have their work cut out for them against a very good Ravens defense.
There is no question that this Houston Texans can put up a lot of points in hurry against most teams around the league as they have only scored less than 23 points three times this season, but the Baltimore Ravens defense is for real and will be ready to dominant this offense by stopping the pass and limiting the running game.
As of right now, the Baltimore Ravens are favored to get the win in this Monday Night Football matchup with a -3 point spread.
Personally, that is extremely low in my opinion as I see a blowout in the making here.
