The San Diego Chargers have been one of the most dominant teams in the NFL over the past decade or so, but no matter how talented their rosters is on any given season, Norv Turner’s squad has been infamous for being slow starters.

This season the Chargers came into the NFL regular season with high hopes of contending for a Super Bowl title and being among the best of the best in the AFC Conference, but unfortunately they have really struggled in the first few weeks of the season and will be coming into their Week 9 matchup with the Houston Texans sitting just above the Denver Broncos in the AFC West division and sporting a 3-5 record. Obviously, there is still time to turn around their season as they do play in a division where the division title could be up for grabs at season’s end, but they will need to keep winning football games to even be in contention for a playoff spot.
