NFL Week 6: Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers Sportsbook odds and predictions

Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers Sun. Oct. 17th 1pm EST

The Cleveland Browns seem like a team that no matter what changes they make they are always destine to lose every single week. There has been without a doubt some strides in the right direction this season with the emergence of running back Peyton Hillis, but the quarterback position has been just awful for the Browns as they have dealt with injuries and now will turn to rookie Colt McCoy (Texas) to lead the way against arguably the best defense in the league in the Pittsburgh Steelers. NFL Week 6: Oakland Raiders vs San Francisco 49ers Sportsbook Odds and Predictions

Oakland Raiders vs San Francisco 49ers Sun. Oct. 17th 4:05pm EST

The Oakland Raiders are coming off of their most impressive win of the season as they were able to get the best of the division rival San Diego Chargers for the first time in 13 games, but even though the silver and black seem to be headed in the right direction, they will be facing off against a very desperate team in the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6.

Before the NFL regular season began, the San Francisco 49ers were considered to be the clear favorite to come out on top in the NFC West division and no one could argue that fact, but now they have started the season with a 0-5 record, their chances of being division champs looks doubtful at best. If nothing else, this makes for an interesting NFL football betting weekend. Continue Reading…

San Diego Chargers vs St. Louis Rams Sun. Oct. 17th 1pm EST

As they usually do, the San Diego Chargers came into this NFL regular season as the clear favorites to win the AFC West division title and make a run at the Super Bowl, but once again Philip Rivers and company have struggled to get off to a good start and will head into Week 6’s matchup with the St. Louis Rams with a 2-3 record after getting beaten by the Oakland Raiders.

There is no question that the Chargers are still a very talented team with Super Bowl aspirations this season, but with their recent struggles on both sides of the football they are no longer team considered to be an elite team in this league. With a pretty good D across the board, this weeks NFL football betting is going to be a good one.

With that being said, they are pretty much on an even playing ground coming into this matchup with Sam Bradford and the St. Louis Rams. Unlike before the regular season where this would have been a game in which the Chargers would have been come into this game expecting to blowout the Rams, Bradford and his up and coming Rams have a solid shot of pulling off the upset as this San Diego squad that is struggling to get back on track. NFL Week 5: Atlanta Falcons vs Cleveland Browns

Atlanta Falcons vs Cleveland Browns Sun. Oct. 10th 1pm EST

The Atlanta Falcons came into this NFL regular season on a mission to prove that they are still a force to be reckoned with in the NFC Conference and in just four short weeks, Matt Ryan and company have done just that as they have shown signs of life on both sides of the football. Not only are the Falcons sporting a 3-1 record heading into Week 5, but they were also able to get the best of the defending Super Bowl champion and division rival New Orleans Saints for the first time since 2002 which will almost certainly give them some much needed confidence for the rest of the season. NFL Week 5: New York Giants vs Houston Texans odds and predictions

New York Giants vs Houston Texans Sun. Oct. 10th 1pm EST

The Houston Texans are a team on the rise in the NFL as they have finally been able to build a team with a solid foundation and an offense that is amongst the best in the league.

Much like their division rivals in the Indianapolis Colts, the Houston Texans have been able to create a dynamic offense that concentrates solely on the passing game, but unlike the Colts, the Texans have been able to get their ground game going this season with the emergence of up and coming running back Arian Foster.

With an elite passing game and a promising running game, the Houston Texans have one of the most dynamic offenses in the NFL today, but it will be put to the test in Week 5 as they go up against the New York Giants defense that sacked the Chicago Bears quarterbacks (Jay Cutler, Todd Collins) 10 times last week.

At this point in the NFL regular season, the Houston Texans are by far the better team, especially on the offensive side of the football, but with the New York Giants pass rush playing as well as they did against the Chicago Bears last week, Matt Schaub and company could be in trouble in Week 5. NFL Week 5: Kansas City Chiefs vs Indianapolis Colts Sportsbook odds and predictions

Kansas City Chiefs vs Indianapolis Colts Sun. Oct. 10th 1pm EST

As the odds on favorites to win the Super Bowl coming into this NFL regular season, the Indianapolis Colts have had a lot of pressure on them early on to win every single game and prove that they are once again Super Bowl bound, but just four weeks into the year, Peyton Manning and company have lost two games within their AFC South division to the Houston Texans and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Obviously, both the losses to the Texans and the Jaguars were very winnable games, but the Colts just didn’t seem to have the same kind of fire in the fourth quarter in order to make a come from behind victory possible. There are some great matchups this week and what a great time for some NFL football betting. Continue Reading…

Baltimore Ravens vs Pittsburgh Steelers Sun. Oct. 3rd 1pm EST

There are few divisions in the NFL today that are as competitive as the AFC North division and this season looks like it might stand out amongst the rest as the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0), Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) and the Baltimore Ravens (2-1) have all gotten off to impressive starts this season with high hopes of competing for the AFC North division title and possibly a shot at the Super Bowl.

Obviously, the one team that has surprised everyone in the AFC North is the Pittsburgh Steelers as they have won their first three games of the season despite not having their two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Ben Roethlisberger under center due to suspension. Continue Reading…

NFL Week 4: Arizona Cardinals vs San Diego Chargers Sportsbook odds and predictions

Arizona Cardinals vs San Diego Chargers Sun. Oct. 3rd 4:15pm EST

The Arizona Cardinals are a troubled NFL franchise, they may be heading into Week 4 with a 2-1 record, but they clearing have problems on both sides of the football and the San Diego Chargers will look to take full advantage of that fact as they try and turn their season around from a 1-2 start.

There is no question that the Arizona Cardinals have some talented players, especially on the offensive side of the football, but they just seem to be barely getting by right now as they were only able to pull out there two wins of the season against the St. Louis Rams (17-13) and the Oakland Raiders (24-23) by the skin of their teeth. NFL Week 4: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Sportsbook odds and predictions

Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Sun. Oct. 4:15pm EST

In the NFL offseason the Philadelphia Eagles made perhaps their boldest move in the franchise’s history by trading was their face of the franchise in six-time Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb to the division rival Washington Redskins.

Over the past five years or so, rumors about the Eagles possibly trading away McNabb seemed to be something that happened in every offseason as it seemed that the perennial Pro Bowler was unable to lead this team back to the Super Bowl. Even though the Eagles never made back to the Super Bowl in the Donovan McNabb era, the consensus was that the franchise quarterback was a success in his 11 years in Philly and always gave the team a shot to contend in the NFC East division and in the NFC Conference, but it was time to part ways as the Eagles shipped him to the nation’s capital. NFL Week 4: San Francisco 49ers vs Atlanta Falcons Sportsbook odds and predictions

San Francisco 49ers vs Atlanta Falcons Sun. Oct. 3rd 1pm EST

The San Francisco 49ers came into this NFL regular season with high hopes of finally turning their storied NFL franchise around as them seemed to have the right pieces of the puzzle on both sides of the football to dominate the NFC West division and cruise into the playoffs, but after a 0-3 start to season many people are starting to question whether or not this team can contend with the best of the best in the NFC Conference.

There is no question that San Francisco has had a tough schedule right out of the gate, but they were expected to get at least one win in the past three weeks, especially over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1. Continue Reading…
