Tennessee Titans vs Dallas Cowboys Sun. Oct. 10th 4:15pm EST
The Dallas Cowboys came into this NFL regular season with Super Bowl aspirations as they seemed to have everything going for them with the Super Bowl being played on their home field in February and a talented new addition to an already potent offense in rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant (Oklahoma State), but after starting the season with a 1-2 record, a lot of people have started to question whether or not they have what it takes to compete with the best of the best in the NFC Conference.
Fortunately, the Dallas Cowboys were able to head into their bye last week with an impressive win over the up and coming Houston Texans (27-13) in which they saw their potent offense finally get going and most importantly, reach the endzone for the first time this season.
Hopefully the momentum of the win over the Texans will carry over to Week 5 when they will face off against a Dallas native in quarterback Vince Young and his Tennessee Titans.
Even though the Titans started off the season strong with a big win over the Oakland Raiders (38-13) in Week 1, they have only been able to get one win since then over the lowly New York Giants (29-10) as their offense has been pretty inconsistent, especially in the running game where Chris Johnson has struggled early.
In Week 5, Vince Young and company will have an opportunity to get back on track against the Dallas Cowboys, but with America’s team getting some much needed rest and finding their groove on offense, I really can’t see Dallas coming up short in this one.
As of right now, the Dallas Cowboys are -6.5 favorites to win this matchup with the Tennessee Titans and as long as the Dallas defense can keep Chris Johnson in check, I believe that is a safe bet.
