Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs Sun. Oct. 31st 1pm EST
Coming into this NFL regular season, the Kansas City Chiefs were considered to be one of the most improved teams in the league, especially on the defensive side of the football, but no one anticipated Matt Cassel and company starting the season with a 4-2 record while leading the way in the AFC West division.
Even though the AFC West division could look much different at season’s end with the Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders and the defending division champion San Diego Chargers turning their season’s around, the Kansas City Chiefs are the team to beat and could very well get their fifth win of the season in Week 8 against the winless Buffalo Bills.
Whenever a division leader like the Kansas City Chiefs goes up against a desperate and talented team like the Buffalo Bills, there is always a good chance for an upset and this game is no different as the Buffalo Bills were able to give the Super Bowl title contending Baltimore Ravens a run for their money last week.
Despite the potential upset here, the Kansas City Chiefs are still favored by more than a touchdown (-7.5) to come out on top in this one. Not only are the Chiefs playing extremely well right now on both sides of the football, but their offense seems to be playing better than ever as they are coming off a 42 point performance in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Personally, the way the Buffalo Bills played last week against arguably one of the best defenses in the NFL in the Baltimore Ravens was impressive, but I believe they are headed for their seventh loss of the season here as the Kansas City Chiefs should cruise to victory.
