The Cincinnati Bengals are one of the best teams in the NFL this season, but they definitely didn’t show it in the loss to the Cleveland Browns last week as the offense completely depended on Terrell Owens and the defense had no answer for Browns running back Peyton Hillis.

Even though the Bengals are coming off the loss to the Browns, Cincinnati is still a serious force to be reckoned with in the AFC Conference and they will be looking to prove that in Week 5 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Coming into this NFL regular season, the Tampa Bay Bucs were thought to be on their way to another season full of disappointment, but surprisingly enough this struggling NFL franchise has started to show signs of life as they have won two of their first three games before heading into their bye week in Week 4.

Despite beating two of the worst teams in the league in the Cleveland Browns (17-14) and the Carolina Panthers (20-7), the Tampa Bay Bucs still look like a team on the rise and if they can get the best of the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5, they could be in the playoff contender conversation this season.

As of right now, the Cincinnati Bengals are -6.5 point favorites coming into this matchup with the Tampa Bay Bucs, but even though I believe Carson Palmer and company should cruise to victory in this Week 5 showdown, the Bucs might be able to give the Bengals a run for their money.

Ultimately, the Bengals should get back on track in Week 5, but I would keep track of the spreads for this game throughout the week as I expect them to change.
