Oakland Raiders @ Jacksonville Jaguars Sun. Dec. 12th 2010 1pm EST
The Oakland Raiders are coming off perhaps their most impressive win this one of the regular season as they are able to dominate San Diego Chargers (28-13) for the second time this year and convince their doubters that they are still a force to be reckoned with in the AFC West division. Even though there is still three games left to go in the regular season, the Oakland Raiders are still in the mix for a playoff spot in the AC conference long as they can continue to be on the winning side of football games from here on out.
Coming into Week 14, the Oakland Raiders will head to Jacksonville to take on the division leading Jaguars in what should be a hard-fought contest start to finish.
Even though the Raiders have one of the most dominant running teams in the league this season as they are averaging about 150 rushing yards per game (3rd in the NFL), the Jaguars just a little the better in the ground game as they have put up an average of 151 rushing yards per game (2nd in the NFL).
With that being said, this game is destined to be won and lost in the ground attack as whichever team comes out on top running the football will almost certainly be the winner of this contest.
With the Raiders competing for an AFC West division title and the Jaguars leading the way in the AFC South, this game will be huge for both teams as it could have playoff implications.
As of right now, the Jacksonville Jaguars are favored to come out on top with -4 point spread. Even though I believe Maurice Jones-Drew and company are more than capable of beating this team, the Raiders should get a win in my opinion as they seem to be more dynamic on both sides of football.
