Chicago Bears @ Miami Dolphins Thurs. Nov. 18th 2010 8:20pm EST
The Chicago Bears have been a pretty streaky team this season with a lot of problems on the offensive side of the football, but they are coming off an impressive win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10 and are now in a first place tie in the NFC North division (with the Green Bay Packers) heading into Miami against the Dolphins in Week 11.
Despite having multiple quarterbacks going down with injury last week against the Tennessee Titans, the Miami Dolphins were still able to come out of Week 10 with an impressive 29-17 victory.
This week it is uncertain which quarterback will be under center, but I believe that it won’t even matter as the Chicago Bears defense will be looking to put the brakes on the Miami Dolphins offense much the way they did against the Minnesota Vikings.
Obviously, the Dolphins aren’t much of a passing team as they tend to stick with ground game, but the Bears defense has proven time and time again that they are for real and will be the reason that Chicago will continue to contend for the NFC North division title.
As of right now, I believe the Chicago Bears will be destined to win this game against the Miami Dolphins as they are just the better all around team, but the Dolphins have shown potential and the ability to beat very good teams this season.
So when the spread comes out it will almost certainly lean in the Chicago Bears favor, but taking a spread any higher than -3 would be questionable at best.
If somehow the spread is in favor of the Miami Dolphins than I fully suggests take the Chicago Bears to pull off the upset.
