New York Jets vs Cleveland Browns Sun. Nov. 14th 2010 1pm EST
It is no secret heading into Week 10 that the Super Bowl title contending New York Jets led by quarterback Mark Sanchez have struggled over the last two weeks. As if it weren’t bad enough that they were shutout against the Green Bay Packers in Week 8, in Week 9 they barely came out on top against the up and coming Detroit Lions by getting the win in overtime 23-20.
This week the AFC East division favorites could have their work cut out for them once again as they will head to Cleveland to take on the surprisingly good Browns. Even though the Browns haven’t been given much credit this season, mainly due to their problems at quarterback, they have been able to beat some good teams this season like the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints and arguably the best team in the league in the New England Patriots.
With the impressive play of up and coming running back Peyton Hillis, the Cleveland Browns have been able to get their offense going and they will look to continue that against one of the best defenses in the league in the New York Jets.
As of right now, the Cleveland Browns are getting the credit they deserve after convincingly beating the New England Patriots (34-10) as they will come into their matchup against the New York Jets as -1 point underdogs.
That is pretty surprising to me to say the least as the Cleveland Browns are incredibly streaky, but with their impressive wins over the Patriots and Saints, I suppose anything can happen.
Even though the Browns have the potential to pull off the upset, I would take the Jets to get the win and cover the spread.
