Seattle Seahawks vs Chicago Bears Sun. Oct. 17th 1pm EST
This season the Seattle Seahawks came into the year with high hopes of turning around their trouble NFL franchise with the addition of former USC head coach Pete Carroll and even though they got off to a quick start by convincingly beating the favorites to win the NFC West division in the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1 (31-6), they have struggled to play consistently well in the first five weeks of the season.
Heading into Week 6, the Seahawks will be sporting a 2-2 record as they head to Solider Field to take on Jay Culter and the rejuvenated Chicago Bears.
Even though not many people expected much from the Bears this season as the consensus was that they still needed to polish their game a bit more, especially on the offensive side of the football, Jay Cutler and company have exceeded expectations early in the season and only have one loss on the year heading into their matchup with the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday.
The one big question heading into Week 6 for the Chicago Bears was whether or not quarterback Jay Cutler was going to be able to suit up due to the concussion he suffered a few weeks ago, but it appears he will be good to go and I believe that could be the deciding factor in this game as the Bears offense and defense should just dominate the Seahawks.
As of right now, the Chicago Bears are favored to come out on top in this one and improve their record to 5-1 as they have the edge with the -6.5 point spread. Even though the Seattle Seahawks might be able to put a little pressure on Jay Cutler and company, the Chicago Bears will cover this spread pretty easily in my opinion.
