Miami Dolphins vs Green Bay Packers Sun. Oct. 17th 1pm EST
The Green Bay Packers headed into this NFL regular season with high hopes of winning the NFC North division and paving their way to the Super Bowl, but after the first five weeks of the season, Aaron Rodgers and company have begun to realize that it will be much tougher than they thought to raise the Vince Lombardi trophy come February.
Heading into Week 6’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins at Lambeau Field, the Green Bay Packers will be pretty banged up as perennial Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still recovering from a concussion he suffered in the loss to the Washington Redskins last week and tight end Jermichael Finley likely out for the season due to a knee injury.
With Rodgers almost certainly not at a 100% and Finley watching from the sidelines on Sunday and for the rest of the season, the Packers will find it tough to get their offense going against this up and coming Dolphins defense, but despite Green Bay’s injury problems they are still favored to come out on top with a -3.5 point spread. Bodog has the at -3.5 while others have them at around -3. We trust Bodog for this weeks NFL football betting.
Even though the Green Bay Packers are being considered to be the team to come out with the win on Sunday at Lambeau Field, I believe the Miami Dolphins will give them a run for their money and make this a very close game. It is uncertain up to this point how Aaron Rodgers will be able to perform, but without his best receiving option and the fact that a concussion has no real timetable for recovery, I am betting that he will struggle this Sunday against the Dolphins.
With that being said, I believe taking the Miami Dolphins in this game would be the right move.
