Coming into this college basketball regular season, no one believed that the Butler Bulldogs (8) would be able to repeat what they had done in the 2010 NCAA Tournament and go the distance. Coming into the 2011 NCAA Tournament, the UConn Huskies (3) were arguably the most entertaining college basketball team in the country as they had won five straight games in dramatic fashion in order to win the Big East tournament.
