Social media app Snapchat is changing its corporate name to Snap Inc. and introducing video-recording glasses called 'Spectacles'. Despite the extensive effort, he calls Spectacles a toy, built for people to have fun - not to be the game-changer that Google Glass was meant to be. It quickly disappeared, and the Journal later published an interview with the company's CEO, Evan Spiegel, about the new device. The app will retain the name Snapchat.

Spectacles will come in one size and three colours - black, teal or coral.

At a time, when Facebook has been constantly attempting to take over Snapchat's massive user base by looting each and every one of their features, we won't be surprised if they come with something similar in the next couple of months.

Now the tech firm is making its first foray in to the world of gadgets, and we're not sure we like what they're planning.

Snapchat's Spectacles are also capable of recording a circular video, different from the rectangular or square recordings made by most cameras devices.
