The idea the election is unfairly tilted against Trump has become a resurgent theme for the NY billionaire and many of his supporters in the past several days as he's slipped in preference polls and faced allegations of sexual misconduct.

The Republican presidential nominee offered no evidence to support the freaky claim, which he appeared to base on his belief that Clinton was energetic at the start of their second debate and downbeat at its conclusion.

After two tumultuous weeks focused on Donald Trump's behavior toward women, Clinton is ahead in almost all of the key battleground states where her campaign has directed the most resources, according to many recent polls. He's accused Clinton of meeting with global financial powers to "plot the destruction of USA sovereignty" and argued his opponent shouldn't have even been allowed to seek the White House. "Instead she is running for president in what looks like a rigged election".

Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook says participation in the electoral system - and particularly voting - is something to be encouraged, and not, in his words, "dismissed or undermined because a candidate is afraid he's going to lose". Elizabeth Warren might endorse Bernie Sanders and wrestling with how to respond to revelations about her private email use.

But within hours of Pence's comments, Trump took to Twitter to partly disagree with his running mate, as he has several times in recent days.

"I think it will be a single-digit difference", Pelosi says.

Trump's supporters appear to be taking his grievances seriously.

The third and final presidential debate before Election Day takes place Wednesday, Oct. 19. And the only way they figure they can slow it down is to come up with people that are willing to say, 'Oh, I was with Donald Trump in 1980.

"I wouldn't say anything to disparage any woman who believes they've had an experience like this", he said on NBC, adding that he believes Trump's denials.

But that task wouldn't be Clinton's alone.

Still, with just a little more than three weeks to go before Election Day, voters have a very unfavorable view of the billionaire businessman.

Even before the mounting allegations, there was evidence that Trump's troubles were hurting the Republican Party's ability to raise money. Those released Friday showed her campaign had asked former President Bill Clinton to cancel a speech to an investment firm past year because of concerns that the Clintons might appear to be too cozy with Wall Street just as she was about to announce her candidacy.
