Kentucky Wildcats (4) vs. UConn Huskies (2) Sat. April 2, 2011 8:49 p.m. EST
As arguably the most anticipated match up in the Final Four, the UConn Huskies (3) will go head-to-head against the Kentucky Wildcats (4) for chance to advance to the national championship game and be crowned NCAA champions. This is one of those scenarios in which most people would love to see these two meet in the national championship game, but unfortunately that’s not the case as only one can advance.
Not only are there some extremely counter players on both UConn Huskies (3) and the Kentucky Wildcats (4) coming into this Final Four showdown, but the head coaches alone will get a lot of the attention as Jim Calhoun and John Calipari are amongst the best to ever coach this game on the collegiate level.
The one player that will get more attention than any other in the final four will be without a doubt UConn’s leading scorer Kemba Walker. Even though this kid didn’t get much attention coming into this college basketball season, Walker was able to quickly established himself as arguably one of the best players in the game as he has all the skills needed to make the jump to the NBA and be very successful.
With a solid jump shot and the ability to just take over game and dominate like Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, Kemba Walker might be the next big superstar on the NBA level, but in the meantime will look to cement himself in NCAA history with yet another solid performance against a formidable opponent in the Kentucky Wildcats (4).
In my opinion, this game is one that could easily cut come down to the wire like many games have in the 2011 NCAA tournament, but in the end it will be the UConn Huskies (3) that will advance to the national championship game as I believe they are just the better all-around basketball team.
Take UConn at +2.

You did not see Kentucky beat Ohio St and UNC. Man nothing like picking the underdog. It was not a last minute buzzer beater we lead 95% of the game. We beat Louisville badly and they gave UCON fits. This should be a no brainer, the championship was last weekend in New Jersey.
