NFL Week 2: Baltimore Ravens vs Philadelphia Eagles

After absolutely destroying the division rival Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night, the Baltimore Ravens are considered to be one of the best teams in the AFC Conference. The New England Patriots currently have the distinction as the team to beat in the AFC, but the Ravens will be looking to give them a run for their money over the course of the 16-game regular season.

In Week 2, the Ravens will face another formidable opponent as they will go head-to-head against Michael Vick’s Philadelphia Eagles. Even though the Eagles were far from impressive in Week 1 with Vick throwing four interceptions against the lowly Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia is still considered to be a force to be reckoned with in the NFC Conference and potentially the team to hand Baltimore their first loss of the season.

There’s no question that the Eagles are one of the most talented teams in the NFL on paper, but have yet to prove it on the field with subpar performances last season and so far in the first week of this season. Vick is still a top tier quarterback with game-changing ability, but he might be in for a wakeup call against the likes of Ray Lewis and company in Week 2.

Ironically enough, even though the Eagles had a poor showing against the Browns in Week 1, Philadelphia is favored to come out on top against the Ravens in Philadelphia.

As of right now, the Eagles have been given the edge with a -3 point spread. With this spread, the consensus seems to be that this will be a close game. That won’t be the case in my opinion as I believe Baltimore will run away with this one and start the year with a 2-0 record.

Take the Ravens at +3.
