Houston Texans @ Cincinnati Bengals Sun. Dec. 11, 2011 1 p.m. EST

The Houston Texans will look to keep things going once again in Week 14 as they will go on the road to face off against a very good Cincinnati Bengals squad led by rookie quarterback Andy Dalton. Even though these are two young teams on the rise in the NFL, the Texans will have the edge coming into this matchup with some experienced veterans and a playoff run on the horizon.

The only problem Houston faces in this showdown with the up-and-coming Bengals is the quarterback position. With Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart done for the year with injuries, the Texans will have rookie gunslinger T.J. Yates under center once again, but he did lead the team to victory against the Atlanta Falcons last week which gives the Texans hope for the rest of the season.

As a backup plan for Yates, the Texans have signed veteran quarterback Jake Delhomme and Jeff Garcia. With this kind of backup, Houston will be good to go and should give Cincinnati a run for their money on Sunday.

This game will be played in Cincinnati on Sunday and the Bengals will be looking to get back on track after being dominated by the arch division rival Pittsburgh Steelers last week (35-7), but I believe that the Texans will continue their current win streak this weekend by pulling off the upset against the Bengals.

As of right now, the Cincinnati Bengals have been favored to come out on top on their home field with a -3 point spread. This spread is fair and possible in terms of the Bengals getting the win, but taking the Texans to upset is the smart bet.
