Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Baltimore Ravens Sun. Nov. 28th 2010 4:15pm EST
The Baltimore Ravens are flying pretty high right now as they are without a doubt a legitimate Super Bowl title contender and leading the way in the AFC North division, but they are coming off a disappointing loss to the Atlanta Falcons (26-21) and will look to get back on track in Week 12 against another NFC South opponent in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Even though the Bucs have been a nonfactor in the NFL for quite some time now, this season they have been arguably the most surprising team in the league as they are sporting a 7-3 coming into this matchup with the Ravens.
There is no question that the Tampa Bay Bucs are the real deal this season, but they will definitely have their work cut for them this week as the Baltimore Ravens will be the toughest team they have face so far next to the division-leading Atlanta Falcons.
As of right now, the Baltimore Ravens are the favorites to come out on top with a -6 point spread. Not only do I believe that Joe Flacco and company should get their eighth win of the season in Week 12, but they are talented enough to cover the spread against an up and coming Bucs team led by quarterback Josh Freeman.
The Bucs may be a very talented football team with a bright future and could very well be playoff bound at season’s end, but they will be in for a bit of a wakeup this week as the Ravens will almost certainly get the best of Tampa Bay and in convincing fashion.
This should be a pretty competitive matchup in the first half, but I see the Joe Flacco and company taking control in the second half and cruising to victory.
